A brief summary of when you can expect the data to be available

Updated over a week ago

Hello!

As you may already know, Greenely gets access to monthly and hourly data through your electricity network company after you have given your consent (via authorization). Below we summarize what applies:

Monthly Data

Monthly data usually comes in first and is, in most cases, the resolution available historically (only a few electricity network companies have hourly data available before we request it).

  • Expected wait time: 1-3 weeks

  • Some electricity network companies send historical monthly data when hourly data becomes available. See the wait time for hourly data.

Hourly Data

The vast majority of Sweden's electricity network companies and meters do not collect hourly data today. By receiving authorization from you (via Greenely), they must adjust the meter/system (at no cost to you) to start collecting and saving data on an hourly basis. The electricity network companies usually send data daily, but it can sometimes be delayed by a day.

  • Expected wait time: 2-9 weeks

  • By law, electricity network companies have a maximum of 90 days to provide hourly data. If it exceeds 90 days, a legal process begins against the electricity network company in question.

  • Some electricity network companies (note: a few) have had hourly data previously and can therefore send data faster and even historical data on an hourly basis.

What Greenely does

  • Visualizes data in the app as soon as it is sent from the electricity network.

  • Continuous reminders to the electricity network company to speed up the process or get status updates.

  • Continuous dialogue on how the process internally at the electricity network companies can be simplified.

  • Talks with authorities and legislators to set higher demands on transparency and shorter lead times for Sweden's electricity customers.
