Why does my contract with Greenely start a few days after my current contract expires? Will I be without electricity these days?
Why does my contract with Greenely start a few days after my current contract expires? Will I be without electricity these days?

What about when we take you over later than the last day of the previous electricity supplier and what does that depend on?

Updated over a week ago

If your contract with us starts some time after your contract with the previous supplier has expired, you will not be without electricity if there were to be several days in between. The previous supplier has a delivery obligation until your agreement with Greenely comes into force.

The reason why the start is later than the end of the agreement is entirely up to the previous supplier, as they are the ones who inform us which date we can take over from you as a customer. If you know when your current electricity contract expires, we can set the start date manually. Here, however, we need to be sure that the agreement with the previous supplier has been terminated, as in the case of a manual change we cannot double-check this with the current supplier. Important here is to check with the previous supplier if you have any binding period and notice period. In order to be able to set a manual start date, we need the date you are free to switch to Greenely and the facility ID (starts with 735999 and you can find it on your electricity contract)
